Synchronize
The Synchronize tool, combines a save and refresh from the server into one operation. First the local changes, if any, are saved to the server, then new changes are downloaded from the server and merged with the current plan. After the synchronize operation, the local copy of the plan matches the copy on the server.
The current layout will remain the same. Newly created tasks on the server will be hidden from view if those tasks constrain tasks in the view. The task display will reflect the new hidden constraints.
It is recommended that users use the synchronize option over the save option if multiple users are working concurrently on related sections of the plan. vPlanner will recalculate the dates after each successful Synchronize operation.
