Tab 3: Layout Options

Task Halo: The Halo is an invisible area around the task that will be clear of other elements.

Spacing Between Tasks: It is the minimum horizontal spacing between tasks when the layout engine arranges the tasks.

Spacing Between Layers: It is the minimum vertical spacing between the tasks when the layout engine arranges the tasks.

Task to Constraint Distance: It is the minimum distance between tasks and constraint lines when the layout engine arranges the tasks.

Constraint to Constraint Distance: It is the minimum distance between the edges when the layout engine arranges the tasks.

The Start Day setting sets the default day to start the week when the weekly swimlane options is used in the swimlanes composer.  Monday is the default.

Label on Both sides will display the Swimlanes label on both sides of the swimlane.

Show Week Numbers will display the week number in addition to the dates when using the Weekly option.

You can use the On Screen and Print colors to give the swimlane lines different colors when viewing on the screen vs when plotting.
