This export dialog produces CSV files that are formatted according to Microsoft Project defaults to make it possible to import the exported CSV file into Microsoft Project without having to map the attributes manually.
The export dialog allows you to select a destination file name, then you can select the sort order of the tasks. By default, all options will be sorted by LF and then by FF dates. The CSV file is comma delimited. When you read it in Microsoft Project, select file Open, then select CSV as the file type and in the Open dialog make sure to specify Comma as the delimiter type.
vPlanner will export LRM dates as the Baseline start/finish dates and will export forecast dates as MS Project Start/Finish dates. Committed tasks will have 50% percent completed status to identify that they are work-in-progress. Completed tasks will have a 100% percent complete status. The vPlanner LF date will be exported as the Deadline date in MS Project.
If this option is enabled, vPlanner will create composite task descriptions during the export that include the prefix and suffix information of the defined tasks. Otherwise, the task description will be exported.
