New Features

  • Gantt Report Improvements: several updates have been made to the Gantt Report including the followings (see Gantt Report for full details):
  • Improved display graphics and performance.
  • Improved calculation of the Percent Complete (PC) metric.  The math now uses this formula inline with CPM.  Sum of Completed Tasks Duration / Sum of all Tasks Duration.
  • Added a new calculation called Percent Complete Target (PCT).   This new metrics reports on where the Percent Complete should be if the plan was on track.   PCT = Sum of (Completed Durations and Durations of late activities) / Sum of all Durations.  When PC is lower than PCT the team is likely to be behind schedule.
  • Ability to filter, display, and print a lookahead report using the Gantt Report (a highly requested feature)
  • The zoom timeline zoom track bar is better synchronized with the display now.
  • Added the option to export PC and PCT data from the Gantt view to an Excel report.  You can export the summaries and the detailed tasks or just the summary tasks regarding of their nesting level.
  • Improved how the timeline is grouped by default and improved printing.

  • PPC Report Improvements: The PPC report is now able to report on the Commitment Level (CL), Percent Required Complete (PRC), and Percent Planned Complete (PPC) by Phase and by Location (Component, Floor, Zone) in addition to the previous filters.  Please note that this data is not backwards compatible with information captured before January 2022.

  • The Unlink tab in the Manage vPlanner.Pull tasks will now arrange the tasks like they in vPlanner.Pull by default instead of automatically applying a vPlanner.Manage layout.

  • Various performance improvements.
